Text Games is an interactive performance that deals with the transition of a documentary text to the stage. The performance is built around a central theme that brings together documentary texts and is not based on a plot. It combines selected texts that the audience (students, students, groups) sends us before each performance and theatrical excerpts that originate from documentary texts from Passport Ensemble performances (Leah Goldberg's diaries, letters between Gershom Shulem and Walter Benjamin, testimonies of a World War II refugee or speeches by US presidents, etc.).

The Text Games is an interdisciplinary and interactive event. During it, selected texts from the audience will be performed for the first time, revealed, and performed by the ensemble actors under the direction of Yael Kramsky. These are texts from personal writings, diaries, letters, notes, home archive fragments, etc. The texts are selected based on their suitability for exhibitions in the museum spaces. In other words, the audience is not only in the role of a spectator, but also influences the content of the performance and its structure.

Documentary work is the immortalization of moments of life that to the outside reader may seem marginal. We are not always aware of the drama that exists in the documentary text. When the text is transferred to the stage, the actor illuminates it in a way that reading can never do. It is an extraordinary experience that reveals the encrypted documentary text. Through the actors, the characters who wrote the text become flesh and blood and their words take on new meaning and resonance. In this way, the documentary text becomes public.

This is a journey of texts between the museum's displays that combines the specific content of the various exhibitions, in relation to the personal texts of the group of spectators in the show and the performance of professional actors.

The use of space as a mechanism that simultaneously activates the actor and the audience crystallizes into a drama that is created between the architectural space, which has specific visual content, and a dramatic situation that originates from the written text. The concept of "stage" disintegrates. The audience is not merely a spectator. The audience influences the content of the play and its structure.

The cumulative experience from the show is a stretching of the boundaries of all the elements of the medium and, at the same time, it is a personal and exciting experience for all who take part in it.
